MARCH NEWS!!

A God send

Hello again Readers!!

All this month my mind has been so preoccupied with the appeal that should have taken place on March 19th and is now re-scheduled for April 23rd.

Replies to the growing pile of letters I’ve received from family, friends and well wishers for the forth coming appeal have all fallen by the way side. I am unable to think straight, let alone manage to write a letter, please accept my apologies; all letters will be replied to after my appeal. Check the return address carefully!! Hopefully it’s not H.M.P. Prison.

It’s Saturday April 11th now as I sit writing this newsletter, struggling for appropriate words and news.

So so very much rides on this forthcoming appeal, will the next 9 years of my life be behind bars or not?

This all most obviously also effects the lives of my immediate family dramatically, my heart goes out to them for the overwhelming anxiety they are feeling right now, hopefully April 23rd will bring the happy ending we are all dreaming of. My appeal will indeed set a Precedent for many people sitting in the same position as I am now.

The forthcoming appeal has already caught the eye of quite a few people. The Chief Investigative reporter of the Guardian Newspaper Mr. Duncan Campbell, as well as the Author and managing Editor of Inside Time newspaper Mr. Eric McGraw will both be in attendance at the appeal, as will many more interested parties.

In just 12 days time, mine and many others lives will all meet at a crossroads which will probably be the biggest turning point in all our lives.

The consequences of the Judges decision either way on that day has my mind in turmoil, it’s as if a fuse “blows” in my head, time and time again, preventing me from thinking through the eventual reality of my future, pending his decision.

Okay!!

Let me draw your attention to the huge amount of changes taking place on this web site currently!

Ulla the lady who so generously devotes so much of her own time in the running of this site, well she’s been out doing herself just lately and has been extremely busy in the creation of numerous articles, (all now found and listed on the Home page of this web site) These articles almost 50 in number are not entirely new articles, they were all taken from previous (past years newsletters) Although you can back flip through previous years monthly newsletters. These articles are quite individual in themselves from part of that months bygone news and deserve a separate easy access place of their own.

Please check them out, they make for very interesting reading new listings start after the article titled: “New!!! Remission, Amnesty, Kings Pardon Explained”.

A very special thank you to Ulla for making this possible, Ulla you really are most appreciated and truly priceless!!

Onto a little news of “Oak” our son, seven months have so quickly passed since he arrived with his mother (my wife “Lek”) in the UK. Oak didn’t speak a single word of English on his arrival. They say children are quick learners and Oak is testimony to that fact, he’s already fluent in English. He never ceases to amaze me each weekly visit with the new words and phrases he’s learnt.

“God”!!, I am missing out on such a precious time and age in his life

Lek and Oak have both settled in so well and have adapted to life here so incredibly well, both are really happy and content living with my mother.

Oak just loves school and last month the school teacher shown my mother some of Oak’s writing saying how very pleased they are with him. They also said he is a very clever boy and catches on so quickly; don’t know where he gets that from because me and Lek are far from bright sparks.

Oak has been a God send, since the loss of my father just 4 months ago, having Oak around for my mother especially has helped so much. With Oak it’s so nice to have something good happening, he’s an entertainer alright, a bit demanding but he’s lovely and a very funny boy. He has us all laughing so much, we all love him to bits and he’s the best thing in our lives right now.

My dad would have had such happy times with Oak, so so sad my father had so few months with Oak.

Dad did love his few last months with Lek and Oak and Oak often speaks of his Grandad.

Yes!! Dad would be very proud and happy now at how Oak his Grandson has took to life here in England.

“We miss you so so much dad”

Last month Oak started football training on a Monday evening at a local Boys Club. He really enjoys it and even scored a goal on his first appearance, but unfortunately in the wrong goal. The Trainer said: “good goal Oak, but in the wrong end”. A little thing like the rules of the game of football didn’t deter Oak’s enjoyment and the following week he scored again, and you guessed it, another own goal. It’s the enjoyment of playing that counts and Oak had a smile on his face for a full hour.

The other week, as training kicked off Oak he quickly ran to the side line to ask my mum and Lek “which goal do I score in?” bless him!!.

Oak hasn’t scored in recent weeks, apparently it’s not so easy in the opposition’s goal, but Oak still loves his football and loves his Monday night at the Boys Club.

He’s popular at his school, must be a bit of a novelty having someone from Thailand.

Almost every week there’s a school friends Birthday party invite. One week when a party invite clashed with a visit here with me, my mum asked him “Party or Daddy?”, “Daddy he said if Megan (his cousin) comes also. I was well pleased even if Megan was a big part of the bargain.

Staff and Teachers alike at Oaks school have been fantastic in helping Oak adapt and really making him feel welcome and at ease Thank you!!, it’s a great school, Oak loves it, that’s testimony itself.

On a completely different theme Congratulations are the order of the day, this month and quite rightly so I might add. Carla Riozzi of Moss Solicitors Loughborough who as I said in last month’s newsletter “who’s persistence and hard work, extraordinary effort in all her work is second to none.

Leicestershire Law Society awarded young solicitor of the year to Carla, “well done Carla” “you more than deserve it”

Well on that worthy note I will sign off.

Wishing you all good health and happiness

                                                             Love Steve
