MAY NEWS!!
The suspense is driving us crazy
Hello again readers,
They say “No News is good News” (Never have I wished that truer than right now)
Yes you guessed it, still no Judgment from the High Court of appeal.
Well over one month has now passed since the Judges on April 23rd and 24th heard our appeal and reserved their Judgment to a date to be fixed by the court.
As I now understand, the court has up to a maximum of three months to give its Judgment on our appeal.
Nothing it appears is ever straight forward in my case, so how many more sleepless nights and agonizing days do we have to ensue, I just don’t know.
Rest assured readers as soon as we know you will know and details will appear on this website.
Again my apologies go out to all of you who’ve written many letters to me and are yet to receive a reply, I had hoped to have had good news to be writing to you all long ago, yet still the appeal is unresolved. It’s all been one delay after another, bare with me a while longer and as soon as the decision (Judgment) has been heard, I will reply to you all.
I am sure you will all understand, when I say, “For months now I’ve been preoccupied with my appeal.
These past few hot days here at Rye Hill prison takes me back to the almost twenty four-seven sweltering heat of
Spare a thought for all the prisoners still held there and if any of you are interested to write to any of the prisoners, details can be found under the heading on the Home Page of this site: “Prisoners seeking contact”
This time of year the hottest months
There’s plenty of good deserving names of all nationalities on the web page “prisoner seeking contact”, so why not write one today.
I remember all too well how much happiness could be had from receiving a letter; it really made all the difference and got me through many an impossible day.
Thanks to all you new readers of this web site, hits to the site jumped dramatically as did signatures to my online Petition, all brought about by the previous months media attention to my appeal.
The Petition on my site is still very important so still please ask your family and friends to all sign it. We’ve almost reached 2,000 signatories and one day in the near future we will send my Petition to Mr. Gordon Brown for his backing, so the more public backing the better!
I came across an interesting article and point of view of Charles Bronson in Insidetime Newspaper recently and I for one share the following view of Mr. Bronson:-
“It’s a bit rich the Government wanting to ban books by serving and former prisoners… does that ban mean everyone?
What about Lord Archer, Lester Piggot… perhaps even Nelson Mandela? The list is endless and such a ban would be tampering with history - and anyway, why shouldn’t prisoners write books and make some money for their freedom in order to start a new life?
If anything, certain books can deter youngsters from embarking on a life of crime – I get letters from parents thanking me for turning their kids away from crime through the stuff I’ve had published. My books aren’t about drugs; they are against crime and expose the murky world of our penal institutions for what they are, and perhaps that’s what the Government dislikes… the truth… the other side… anything that exposes the corruption and the cloak and dagger brigades activities.
No sane person wants to end up like me… living in a cage… a concrete coffin where I’ve spent the last three decades, and then perhaps dying in Jail… the cruelest, loneliest death imaginable.
I’m doing my books; creating my art; being positive; respectful; so what does the Government want from me? I know what I want from them… I want moving out of this graveyard onto normal location so that I can move on… and above all, I want my freedom”.

As with my website its not our intensions to glorify or glamour, our intentions more than anything is to serve as deterrent, make people aware of the consequences of often small unthinking actions that end with the most severe of consequences and unthinkable suffering to yourself and more so your family and loved ones.
Hopefully this site will also help those in similar circumstances and eventually bring about change for the better and eradicate much of the suffering.
Our intentions are good!!
On that note I will sign off, Best wishes to you all
