CHRISTMAS CARD APPEAL

There are so many Prisoners being held in Prisons abroad in places like Asia, who feel, especially at Christmas, that they have been forgotten about and that nobody cares. And for this reason, we are asking everyone who visits this site to send one card to somebody imprisoned abroad. You could really make a difference to someone and make their grim Christmas a little more bearable.

October News!!

Birthday and Superheroes

Greetings Readers;

I must start this months News with a huge apology to so many of you, who have written letters to me in the past three months or more. Your not alone!, I’ve a pile of thirty to forty letters I’ve still not replied to.

I’ve no reasonable or worthy excuse readers and friends, but in my defense I just don’t have the time on my hands like I did in a Thai Prison.

For one, I work 5 days a week my Job title “Waste Management” “Recycling Team” or a glorified dustbin man yeh! A bin-man, so you can imagine the high stress levels that comes with my Job.

On a serious note though! A bin-man here at Rye Hill prison is quite a well sort after Job and a big improvement on the factory work I did here before.

As far as Jobs go within the prison it’s a good Job, hardly a career move I know, but hey! It beats being locked in a cell all day.

Legal work in preparation of my forth coming appeal has also had me pre-occupied.

To be honest and I aint proud of this fact:- most nights I just vegetate in front of the T.V., and before I know it another day has passed me by and a feeling of guilt and regret takes hold. (I’ve done nothing to slow the growing pile of un-answered letters). I will try harder and hope to write you soon.

Due to all the excitement of my wife “Lek” and our son “Oak” arriving in England and now living with my parents.

I’ve neglected to mention in the past two months newsletters any developments in my own case.

Regarding my own appeal to the High Court in London (My Judicial Review), a hearing date should be fixed shortly.

The Law firm handling my case Moss Solicitors of Loughborough Leicestershire have now acquired the very capable services of a Q.C. Queens Counsel.

Let me just say, “Things are definitely looking up” concerning my case and the legal side of it, the least I say publicly the better at this stage. Be patient readers!, all good things come to those who wait.

How did you all like the photos in the last month’s newsletter? Much better than this endless lines of my waffling on.

They were good photo’s wasn’t they?, and he takes a good photo does the little chap “Oak”.

Well there’s more photo’s to come this month, as October 8th 2008 was “Oaks” Birthday (five years old).

Also I had three separate very special friends visit me this month to go with my normal weekly visits of my family.

“Katherine, we so enjoyed your visit, many thanks!”

Also, one man who knows only to well what I’ve been through in Thailand, nice to have a visitor I can really relate to, much appreciated, many thanks mate.
